You need to follow some easy & simple taste in preparing this dish. This dish is very much popular among Asian peoples because of its nutritional value.
Materials in preparing Sushi:
There are some materials which are very important in making sushi properly. The materials are sushi fish, rice vinegar, sushi mat, nori, dashi konbu, and dark green dried kelp, Japanese rice wine & last but not in list the most important item is sushi rice. Tuna, salmon, yellowtail sushis are the some of the example of the sushi fish which are very much important in making sushi for additional flavor.
Cooking the sushi rice:
Sushi rice is small grained rice which is readily available in the market. At first clean & soak the rice in a bowl for half an hour. Then add some rice wine, dashi konbu & dark green dried kelp with the rice before cooking the rice. Then keep the rice for boiling for 15 minutes.
Preparing rice vinegar:
On another pot add some rice vinegar, sugar & salt and then stir that with a spatula. Keep on stirring until the sugar melted.
You can add the vinegar with the rice & mix it up.
Preparation of raw fish & vegetables:
Finely cut the vegetables & fish in to thin pieces for additional flavor. Raw fish is utilized in preparing Sushi & it is advisable to clean the fish properly with water before you are planning to use it as a filling in your sushi.
Last step in creating Sushi:
Place the nori on sushi mat & then spread the rice. Keep all ingredients at the centre of the nori, so that it will help the Sushi to roll perfectly. Then place fish & vegetables of your choice at the top of the rice. Then roll the sushi mat & cut it into small pieces. Serve the hot sushi with dark soy sauce.
